Terms of Service

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By purchasing and using PromptVault (including the Notion templates, Chrome extension, and prompt library), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not purchase or use PromptVault.

These Terms apply to all customers, regardless of tier (Starter, Pro, or Team).

2. DEFINITIONS

• "Service" - PromptVault, including the Notion template, Chrome extension, prompt library, and all related materials
• "Product" - The specific tier purchased (Starter, Pro, or Team)
• "Prompts" - The curated AI prompts included with your Product tier
• "Extension" - The PromptVault Chrome browser extension
• "Template" - The Notion workspace template and dashboard
• "We," "Us," "Our," "Company" - PromptVault and its operators
• "You," "Your," "User," "Customer" - The person or entity purchasing and using the Service

3. LICENSE GRANT

3.1 Personal and Team Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Access and use the Prompts in the PromptVault Service
• Install and use the PromptVault Chrome Extension on your personal devices
• Duplicate and modify the Notion template for your personal or team use
• Copy and use individual Prompts in your personal AI interactions

3.2 License Restrictions

You may not:

• Sell, distribute, or sublicense the Prompts, Template, or Extension to others
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without express written permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Extension
• Modify or remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Share your purchase with others or allow unauthorized access
• Use the Service to train AI models
• Publicly republish the Prompts as your own creation

3.3 Team Use

If you purchase the Team tier, you may share the template and Extension with team members within your organization. All team members must comply with these Terms. You remain responsible for their use.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

4.1 Our IP

PromptVault, the Extension, Template, Prompts, and all associated content are intellectual property owned or licensed by PromptVault. This includes:

• The prompt library and curated content
• The Extension's code and interface design
• The Notion template structure and formulas
• All logos, graphics, and branding materials

These remain our property. Your purchase grants you a license to use, not ownership.

4.2 Your Content

If you create custom prompts within your PromptVault Template, you retain ownership of that custom content. However, you grant PromptVault the right to use anonymized data about your usage to improve the Service.

4.3 Attribution

You may use the Prompts for any purpose, including commercial use of the outputs generated from the Prompts. You do not need to attribute PromptVault, though attribution is appreciated.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of third parties
• Create illegal content or assist in illegal activities
• Defame, harass, or abuse others
• Bypass security measures or restrictions
• Interfere with Service operations
• Generate misleading or fraudulent content at scale
• Create automated systems that mirror the Service without permission

6. PAYMENT AND PRICING

6.1 Pricing

Pricing is listed on our website and in Lemon Squeezy at the time of purchase. Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

Current pricing:

• Starter - $29 (one-time)
• Pro - $79 (one-time)
• Team - $199 (one-time)

6.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Lemon Squeezy. By purchasing, you authorize the charge to your payment method. Lemon Squeezy's terms and privacy policy govern payment processing.

6.3 Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable sales taxes, VAT, or other taxes. We will charge these where required by law.

6.4 Discount Codes

Discount codes are one-time use where indicated. They cannot be combined with other offers and are non-transferable.

8. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

8.1 "As-Is" Service

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• Accuracy or quality of the Prompts
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Merchantability or non-infringement
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

8.2 Prompt Quality

While we curate the Prompts with care, we do not guarantee:

• That Prompts will produce desired results with any AI tool
• That Prompts will continue to work with future versions of ChatGPT, Claude, etc.
• That Prompt outputs will be accurate or useful for your specific use case

AI tools and their behavior change frequently. Test Prompts before relying on them in production.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

9.1 Cap on Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PromptVault's total liability for any claims arising from this agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product.

9.2 Excluded Damages

In no event shall PromptVault be liable for:

• Lost profits or revenue
• Lost data or business interruption
• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Damages arising from third-party services (ChatGPT, Claude, Lemon Squeezy, etc.)
• Any damages caused by your use or misuse of the Service
